Team Bracket Rules

Teams will aim to make consecutive shots against opposing teams in a bracket. Each teammate shoots until a miss, with total successful shots determining the score. The team with the most made free throws moves forward. In case of a tie, a designated shooter will break it. The champion team wins a $300 gift card prize.

Individual Bracket Rules

Contestants, male and female, will compete as a part of a single elimination bracket. Individuals will compete by making the most out of ten free throws within a time limit. The player with the highest score advances. In case of a tie, a best-of-five format will determine the winner. The champion wins a $200 gift card prize.

FAQs

Who is eligible to participate?

Age: There are no age restrictions for participation.

Skill Level: The tournament is open to players of all skill levels.

Registration: All participants must register before the tournament deadline to be eligible to compete.


How will the matches play out?

Prior to the start of each match, a coin toss will determine who shoots first.

Competitors will alternate shooting free throws in sets as dictated by the tournament structure.

In the event of a tie after the designated number of throws, players enter a tie-breaker round where they will shoot a designated number of free throws until the tie is broken.


How will disputes be resolved?

All disputes will be resolved by the tournament officials.

The decision of the tournament officials will be final.

What is the scoring system?

Each successful free throw scores one point.

Each missed free throw scores zero points.


What is the scoring system?

The free throw line will be set at the standard distance of 15 feet from the basket.

Size 7 basketballs will be provided for the 15 and up and team brackets. Size 5 basketballs will be provided for the 0-14 bracket.


Are there guidelines for sportsmanship?

Competitors are expected to maintain high levels of sportsmanship.

Any form of cheating, abusive language, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
